Nexcelle evolves its management team
September 10, 2015
As Nexcelle moves from the development phase for its nacelle products on integrated propulsion systems to the industrial phase, our management team also has evolved.
The initial change is a transition of our Technical Director position to a new definition as Director of Operations. Philippe Gassin has been named to this post, with responsibilities of overseeing the industrial coordination as Nexcelle continues its deliveries of nacelles for flight test aircraft, and builds up capabilities to meet the series production expectations of our customers.
Philippe has extensive industry experience, with more than 25 years within the Safran organization – the aerospace industry grouping to which our Aircelle parent company belongs. His responsibilities have included management assignments for both aircraft and space propulsion systems, along with positions involving finance, industrial strategy and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul).
In addition, Nexcelle has created the position of Chief Financial Officer, for which we have the services of Bonnie Cook. She has worked at Nexcelle’s other parent company – GE Aviation’s Middle River Aircraft Systems (MRAS) – for the past 20 years, with varied finance roles across MRAS’ production programs, as well as the aftermarket.
Also joining our team is Adeline Terrier, who takes on the Contracts Director responsibilities. She is Nexcelle’s contractual link to both of Nexcelle’s parent companies, along with our two current clients – CFM International for the LEAP-1C engine, and GE Aviation for the Passport powerplant. Adeline brings marketing and sales expertise expertise from positions in both the U.S. and France.
